When you conduct a transaction on our website, contact us via telephone, email or social media as part of the process, we collect personal information you give to us.

We also collect personally identifiable information, payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, reviews and recommendations. First For Events LTD stores names, email addresses, phone numbers, personal/event addresses, payment details, email threads, usage information and any information about your web preferences on our website.We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

What data will be shared with others?

We only share your data with regulators or government bodies if requested.

How long will my data be kept for?

For Events LTD will keep your personal information for as long as we need to for the purposes of which it was collected. First For Events LTD stores data relating to transactions, payments and orders for a period of up to seven years. This period may be extended under certain circumstances as part of our ongoing commitment to comply with UK and international law. After this period, your data will be deleted. You can request your data to be deleted at any time.

First For Events LTD will never sell or share your data to any third-party, unless you grant us your explicit permission to do so.

First For Events LTD stores your data on secure servers and we use standard industry security protocols.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

Data that is transferred outside of the European Union is so under the certification of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S Department of Commerce, regarding the collection, use and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States, and therefore adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles.

Our company obligations

As part of our ongoing commitment to GDPR, First For Events LTD will report any security breaches or attempted breaches to the relevant authorities within 24 hours. We will subsequently contact all those affected by the breach within 72 hours of its occurrence.
