HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

These Terms & Conditions set out an agreement between the Hire Provider (First For Events LTD) and the Hirer (the person, organisation or company booking the equipment for hire from the Hire Provider). Upon booking (either verbally or electronically), it is deemed that the Hirer has read, fully understood, and agreed to the Hire Providers Terms & Conditions.

Equipment consists of any item of hire, including props. All equipment remains, at all times, the property of First For Events LTD. All our equipment is for indoor use only in a weatherproof area on dry, level, hard surface flooring/ground.

In the event of the Hire Provider being unable to attend your event due to reasons beyond their control such as (but not limited to) adverse weather conditions, road closures, vehicle breakdown, illness, death, or equipment failure, the Hire Provider’s liability will be limited to refunding all of monies already paid by Hirer to Hire Provider for that service.

 

Retro Magic Mirror Hire

1. Retro Magic Mirror delivery, setup & collection is free.

2. On receipt of a £50 deposit, First For Events LTD will provide a Retro Magic Mirror for your event. The balance of this hire is payable 30 days prior to your event.

3. Retro Magic Mirror Hire time is the length of actual time outlined on your chosen hire package, plus any additional hours pre­ordered and pre­paid for.

4. Unless otherwise agreed, the Retro Magic Mirror will print one picture for your photo album and a maximum of one picture for each guest in the shot.

5. Guests may use the Retro Magic Mirror as many times as they like within the hire period.

6. Whilst we encourage the fun use of the Retro Magic Mirror, if we feel that the Retro Magic Mirror is not being treated in a respectful manner we will ask the guest(s) involved to leave the Retro Magic Mirror, and they will not be permitted to use it again.

7. We will not accept any threatening behaviour. If this occurs we will stop the use of the Retro Magic Mirror and dismantle with no refund.

8. We will ask Guests to leave drinks away from the Retro Magic Mirror.

9. Any damage / loss to the Hire Providers equipment through misuse, negligence, abuse or theft by the Hirer, their guests, or affiliates, becomes the responsibility of the Hirer. The Hirer shall bear the cost of any such repair. In the event that the equipment becomes damaged beyond repair, the Hirer shall bear the replacement cost, and any additional cost as a result of affected future hire.

10. In the unlikely event of a technical problem with the Retro Magic Mirror, or in any event beyond our control which renders the Retro Magic Mirror unusable, a refund will be given pro rata to any time lost.

11. Images taken by our Retro Magic Mirror may be used by us to assist with promoting our services. This may include printed publications as well as on­line images. The Hire Provider owns all copyright on any image taken by our Retro Magic Mirror

12. If a failure of the printer occurs we will still encourage use of the booth and write in the album. The pictures will be printed after the event and your album posted directly to you, along with a second copy of all the images.

13. The Client must provide a solid flat empty cubic space of 2.5M (L) x 1.5M (W) x 2.0M (H) and access to a 240V mains socket within 6 feet. If the Retro Magic Mirror is to be located in the middle of an open area, extension leads may be required. The Client must provide the Supplier access to the venue 1 hour prior to the Retro Magic Mirror hire start time.

14. The Client must provide the Supplier a suitable parking space. Parking fees will also need to be covered by the event organiser, if applicable.

Date Changes & Cancellations

1. A request for a date change must be made in writing 30 days in advance of the original event date. If there is no availability on the alternative date, the deposit shall be forfeited and event cancelled.

2. Your deposit (£50) is nonrefundable once the 14 day cooling off period has elapsed. 

3. If a cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to the event date; 100% of the hire price becomes payable and any monies paid will be forfeited.
